About Noiondex
Noiondex is a small editorial site about home storage in Canada. It gathers notes on closet layouts, pantry organization, and seasonal storage, written for the kinds of homes most people actually live in: older houses with shallow closets, condos with compact floor plans, and apartments where every shelf counts.
What this site covers
The focus is narrow on purpose. Rather than general decluttering advice, the notes deal with the practical conditions of Canadian homes through the year, including long winters, humid summers, dry indoor heating, and the recurring crunch of storing two seasons of clothing and gear at once.
- Reach-in and front-hall closet layouts
- Pantry and dry-goods storage in a cold climate
- Rotating seasonal gear through small spaces
How the notes are written
Each guide is written to be practical and specific. Where exact figures would depend on a particular home or product, the text uses neutral descriptions rather than invented numbers. The aim is information that holds up across different houses, not claims dressed up as precision.
About the images
Every photograph on the site is reused from Wikimedia Commons under its respective free licence. Images are chosen to illustrate the storage situation under discussion rather than to depict any specific product.
